Following our visit to Hunstanton Drama Festival, I’m pleased to report we had huge success hence the subtle change in the page title above. We won the Best Original Script award for Chris Fullwood’s ‘The Village Fete’. We also came very close to winning the Best Adult Actor and Actress awards. There will be a write up of this in the Lynn News so as and when this becomes available I will put a copy online. Last night a group of about 25 of us went to watch the performance of ‘The Village Fete’ at the Hunstanton Drama Festival of one act plays. Before our performance were two others from a group called The Village People and DADS (Drayton Amateur Dramatics Society). Both of these entries were from original scripts and were very different from our own and included some dance and smoke effects between them. Our performance was very well received by the invigilators and we are keeping our fingers crossed that we can win one of the awards when they are announced tonight. The full report from the invigilators will be posted here when it is sent to us and of course, if we win anything, so will that. The DVDs for Mischief in Malaga are now available to order. I will put an order form on the website for this on the DVD order page for this and any previous that you want to order Our first performances of Mischief in Malaga have been received well by our audiences.
