Last night a group of about 25 of us went to watch the performance of ‘The Village Fete’ at the Hunstanton Drama Festival of one act plays. Before our performance were two others from a group called The Village People and DADS (Drayton Amateur Dramatics Society). Both of these entries were from original scripts and were very different from our own and included some dance and smoke effects between them. Our performance was very well received by the invigilators and we are keeping our fingers crossed that we can win one of the awards when they are announced tonight. The full report from the invigilators will be posted here when it is sent to us and of course, if we win anything, so will that.
