Following our visit to Hunstanton Drama Festival, I’m pleased to report we had huge success hence the subtle change in the page title above.

We won the Best Original Script award for Chris Fullwood’s ‘The Village Fete’. We also came very close to winning the Best Adult Actor and Actress awards.

Hunstanton Drama Festival

Last night a group of about 25 of us went to watch the performance of ‘The Village Fete’ at the Hunstanton Drama Festival of one act plays. Before our performance were two others from a group called The Village People and DADS (Drayton Amateur Dramatics Society). On April 1st a group from the Briston Players attended a one day course at the BBC Open Studio in Norwich.
